Technique: Watercolour, acrylic, pastel, ink, and mixed media
Born in Montreal in 1940, Nicole Grisé now lives in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec.
Nicole Grisé has always been fascinated by the beauty that surrounds her. To transcend her appreciation towards the ‘Beauty’ of nature and all that is living, Nicole Grisé has found watercolour and acrylic as her means of expression. With these ‘tools’ at hand, she is capable of transmitting her gratefulness and deepest respect to all that moves her. Making her landscapes and still lifes’ that much more original and personal.
Her creative nature demands of her to always move on and try new mediums with which to work. Her collages, her portraits, and her more abstract pieces are filled with vibrant emotions and sensitivity. Her paintings render a comforting feeling of softness and tenderness.
Nicole Grisé has been an active member of the Canadian Society of Watercolorists since 1989 and of the Figurative Art Institute. She exposes in many galleries throughout Quebec.
